KEY ROLE:

As the Customer Service Assistant, you will drive the membership recruitment for our Rewards Cards Program. You will be explaining to customers the mechanics of our rewards card program as well as assisting them to sign up to be our member. You will provide excellent customer service to enhance the customer experience in our store. You will also provide value added services which include gift wrapping, gift redemption, GST refund, delivery service, redemption of vouchers as well as sales of gift voucher.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 


  • Be very familiar with the mechanics of our BHG Rewards Cards Program so that you are able explain to our customers as well as address any concerns regarding our program.
  • Assist customers to sign up for our Rewards Cards Program via IPad registration
  • Understand our CRM and voucher redemption system so that you are able to carry out transactions
  • Manning Point of Sales counter and perform cashier duty for sales or customer service related merchandise and maintain inventory record for goods sold at the counter
  • Manage customer’s complaints and feedback
  • Provide value added services which includes but not limited to gift wrapping, gift redemption, GST refund, delivery, voucher redemption and purchase of gift vouchers
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the Customer Service Counter
  • Make public announcement for customers when necessary
  • Monitor stock level at the counter and replenish when necessary. 
  • Ensure safe handling of the iPad and other accessories / equipment

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum GCE "O" Levels/ NITEC/ Diploma and above
  • Able to work retail hours and shifts
  • Proficient in verbal and written English language.
  • Able to converse in other mother tongue is an advantage.
  • Be an effective communicator with good listening skills
  • Customer service oriented and have a passion in customer service
  • Polite, friendly, approachable and interacts well with customers and co-workers
  • Possess initiative to provide prompt service and address customer’s needs
  • Willing to go the extra mile to engage customers
